Dropped my new-to-me 2005 Outback XT w/~103K off last week. The steering-wheel jumped all over the place when I applied the brakes. Especially at higher-speed.

As I suspected, the front rotors were warped. Turns out they were already below minimum spec, so they had to be replaced, along with the pads.

I've known for a while that the front ball joints were worn, so I had them tackle those at the same time. This particular car spent most of it's life around Utica, NY, so the pinch-bolts were very rusted. One came out fine after soaking for the weekend, but the other broke-off. Turns out the hub is cracked too, so now the search is on to find a replacement.
