Hey guys, I believe I need to replace my drain vent valve on my 04 2.5 but its the one thats inside the canister itself, anyone know the part number for said valve? I've gone onto several Subaru parts websites and found nothing and on Rockauto they just have the one for it being outside the canister. Any idea's?

and LOOK at that, NOW Subaru OEM parts on Rockauto. = lower prices, more competition and a easy look up.:grin2:

edit: whoops thats the Vent valve above.

and you might need the purge valve.

I have the one like on post 9 from this thread (http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums...7-misfire-plus-p0420-plus-p1443-all-once.html) Also, when I type in that part number for the Subaru part (42084FA120) on various OEM Subaru websites it states that this part will not fit my 04'.

04 have some unique parts on them in that specific year.

try with and without the part #.

try quirkparts or subaruonlineparts. = both use "revolution parts software" which is easy to draw down on most things.

heuberger in colorado came up recently in my searches for best prices. (...think they go by "bestbuy" on one of their portals).

that and amazons group of subaru dealers...
