Hello all,

I have a 2008 Outback with a new engine and just over 11k on it. Today I had the radiator boil and pulled over ASAP, so hopefully no gasket damage.

I’m down in the rio grand valley and need to find a reputable repair shop around Brownsville, Harlingen, or McAllen.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!!

Many thanks!

moved thread / updated title.

things to do as a DIY. rinse the radiator with a garden hose. (exterior maybe clogged up with fine dust).

replace the rad cap with a new OEM. old ones or aftermarkets maybe too tight and cause a boil.

@1 Lucky Texan may remember a knowledgeable member from that area that could recommend a shop.
