Gauging interest at this point (and a prototype on the way), but would anyone be interested in a "plug and play" harness for supplying a power, ground (and if requested/required) reverse-trigger wire? These would ship as "unterminated" for the power/ground wires as there are too many variations to power supply cords for the various dash-cam manufacturers. The exception would be a "terminated" Mini-USB or MicroUSB male plug (for many phone and cheaper dash cams).

These would plug into the existing vehicle harness to prevent any cutting or splicing of the factory harness. These would also retain the factory plug for existing (or additional) auto-dimming/compass rear view mirrors. Envision a "T" harness, if you will.

Thoughts?

What a great idea. We just bought our 2006 and have a dash cam and radar detector and just can't see a decent way to run the wires without having wires running all over the place.
