Hello everyone, I wanted to make this thread so everyone could post up any good pics they have of their 2010 Outback. In fact if our administrative staff likes your pictures there is a good chance one will be featured on the main homepage. Put'em up and keep'em comin' :20:

P.S. If you have any good action pics, you get bonus points :D

I really like the looks of the lower priced alternatives... wonder if the cons you shared would be similar for these too?

I bought from this exact listing, they are the exact same design as zsubiedubies. He was generous about the turn signals' visibility- they are really hard to see even from the front and basically impossible to see from a 45 degree angle, much less the 90 degree angle you would have at a 4-way intersection.

But here's the real kicker: Mine didn't fit. The housing on one of them was molded incorrectly and simply could not be forced into the space. The one that was able to be mounted left a 1-2 cm gap between the hood and the edge of the light, and generally just did not look like they fit in the space, which really bothered me. (I've attached some low-quality pictures I took, but they don't really convey how odd the fitment looks in person.)

While some people have had good experiences with these, I would recommend just getting the SAP headlights on RockAuto if you want a darker headlight, the build quality and safety concerns with these are a deal-breaker for me. I was extremely disappointed because they do look really cool....but if they don't fit then there's really nothing you can do.

TLDR: Aftermarket parts are sometimes poorly made/designed, get OEM parts instead unless you don't care about part fitment or feel lucky.

Sounds like the cheaper alternative is a no go. I may have even gotten lucky with mine fitting fine... Who knows. 😬

I haven't had any issues with the more expensive ones from eBay... Besides the cons I listed. That's good information that the cheaper alternative is bad...maybe I'll update the original post to state that in case others stumble upon it.

And yeah, I couldn't agree more about OEM parts. I took a chance with the headlights for sure, but ultimately like them quite a bit.

Oh, and I highly recommend RockAuto as well. Definitely my favorite online parts store... Them and Summit Racing.

My wife got some new stickers for it recently so we added those and have her a bath in the rain the other day.

Still working on it, but i figured I'd post it up here and see if anyone has insights/tips.
so far...
I just got my (5) 16" rims (got them from a guy who powder coated them and never got to put them on before he crashed his car)
gonna put on 225/70/16 AT2 xtreme tires
just installed 2 running lights (third one to be installed in lower intake opening, only using an additional 15% of opening, leaving room for air flow still)
home-made roof rack/wind fairing from an ATV trailer with load limit of 1500lbs (reinforced by steel L bars - super light and sturdy)
I made new Subaru logos for front and back (Godzilla roaring at Subaru Logo attacking Gotham City, being attacked by helicopters)
rally mud flaps (being replaced tomorrow)
tow hitch
trailer hitch.
any thoughts?
ideas where to go next?
be kind.

Hey y'all! Long time lurker, first time poster. I got my '13 Limited a little over a year ago and I love it more every day. The first of many Subies for me! Also a bit of a rarer sight down here in the deep south. Looking forward to learning more about my car from y'all!

At the end of last week, my area received 11" of snow. I drove in the conditions with my Nomads and did rather well. I could possibly put my winter tires and OEM wheels if I would like to. My Legacy is going to get its snow tires on tomorrow.

I have never thought of storing wheels like that before... Definitely going to steal that idea.

Feel free to steal this unique idea. It came about due to having a small 2-car garage and it was difficult to get a lot in there. My 2 Subarus fit in there like a glove. I put shelves above the cars to store overlanding/camping gear then I had to figure out the tires. The rack is on wheels so that I can pull it out when I am doing my swaps. Above it is a long work bench.
