I own a 1998 Legacy 2.2 liter auto and I am leaking power steering fluid. The power steering reservoir has to be topped off maybe every 2 weeks. Looks like the leak is very near the reservoir as a red puddle is underneath and seeps on top of engine block right below it. I just started adding Lucas Stop PS leak. So will see how that goes. Are there seals near the reservoir? Almost certain leak is somewhere closely below it based on red stuff puddling. Probably worn out some as at 192k. Otherwise best car ever had.

There is an o-ring seal where the reservoir meets the pump. Evacuate the fluid from the reservoir, remove the return hose, a 12mm bolt holds it to the pump. replace the o-ring and reassemble. Clean it up good with a degreaser so if the pump seal starts leaking you'll know.
