Rear Brake - Lubricate?

1609 Views 0 Replies 1 Participant Last post by  Minnsnow
I have a 2015 Outback with 31000 miles, and am doing a PM brake cleaning. The FSM does not indicate any lubricant for the rear brakes. It does of course for the front brakes.

I bought the CRC Silaramic lubricant: for the rears, should I put a little into the top/bottom grooves of the caliper where the brake pads seat?, or do the brake pads just go in dry.

I am a new Subaru owner: this forum has been very helpful ... Thanks
