Just got a call from my Subaru dealership (Mannassas Subaru) setting up an appointment for next week. They will re-program the transfer case module which will take an hour or so to complete.

They also informed me that the recall notice, from Subaru, is already on the mail and will probably arrive next week.

Have anybody else got a call/notice??

There seems to be a TSB on the 05 trannies, I got it this AM but have not had a chance to post (or fully read) it yet on our site. I'll post a link here when I do. It's 10 pages long

I brought my 05 LLBean to the dealership a couple of days ago. They re-programmed the transfer case module and it took less than an hour to complete. I noticed that the hesitation on the acceleration, especially from the get go or stand still, is gone or has significantly improved.
And so I'm glad to have it done.

For those reading who don't follow the link.
It only affects H6 engines mated to Automatic transmissions.
