Hey folks, I just moved to north texas from colorado, and I'm in need of new tires ASAP. I imagine the winters here might get a little rain, but nothing like CO, so I'm prioritizing dry pavement handling, noise, and MPG over winter conditions. Most of my miles are highway (60+ mph). I don't want super high mileage tires, in case I get a puncture and have to replace it mid-life. Any recommendations?

I run Kumho Solus on my wife's Outback. There may be some better choices but, the price makes them a good value.

we tend to get more ice than snow, I recommend just staying home that day unless you have an emergency.

maybe read some reviews at Tirerack.com .

They didn't have any of the ones you guys listed, so I ended up with Pirelli P4's. Hope that wasn't a bad choice? I got the "extended warranty" from Discount Tire, so if they age prematurely or anything, it's covered.
