Hi, Subie Owners in Twin Cities, glad to join you.

1)

I will got my outback 2017 premium at the end of this month.

After comparing OEM and aftermarket range, I decided to go aftermarket remote starter.

I heard some horrible stories about Bestbuy installation, any local shop to be recommended for it?

Also I planned to upgrade speakers after testing drive so if the shop can do audio upgrading at the same time it will be better.

2)

I also joined MNSubaru forum but after one day I still haven't the permission to post, any additional step is required? It seems there are some MNSubaru forumers here.

3)

Not sure who in MN have an extra $500 Ambassador coupon to share before my picking up, it will be sweet for additional saving and I really appreciate it.

Welcome to the forum. And congrats on your new Outback.

I'm not familiar with the Twin Cities area, but if you are going with a Viper system be sure and select a Preferred dealer. You can check on which shops are Preferred on the Viper website. You are right about staying away from Best Buy. Here is a clue. Best Buy stores do not earn Preferred Dealer status.
