Please give us a few more details about your car and your predicament. Is it an automatic or manual? Are any warning lights on the dash (check engine, etc.)? I assume a previous problem existed - car died Friday night - had it been dying or hard to start for a while, or did it just happen out of the blue? How many miles on the car? Does it seem to start normally - not struggling - before it dies? How long does it run?

These second generation cars also have a grounding issues as they get older. Since you just had the battery replaced check that the battery cables are clean and tight where they contacts the battery posts. Also check the negative cable where the wire forks off and attaches to the car's body. Perhaps the vibration from the car running is wiggling the negative ground cable loose. A little light sanding at these ground points to remove rust can make a difference.
