I had an incident involving a cargo box and a carwash (why? because I'm a complete idiot). Long story short the car wash hit the box and snapped the crossbar out of the plug hole. It's a 2010 Outback. There was a piece of the plug broken off inside the hole. Can I replace the crossbar? Or do I need to take it to a dealer and have the whole roof rack repaired?

The crossbar can be replaced ----if you can find one. The dealer only sells them with the main rail.:gasp: Several people have asked about them but I havn't heard of anyone actually finding one. Good luck.
