I bought some Kicker 6-1/2" DSC-650 speakers to replace my stock speakers on my 2005 Outback Sedan. When I placed the order the site said they would fit. They don't. I ordered some adapter plates from Crutchfield, they don't fit. Has anyone run into a similar situation or have good information on adapter plates that DO work? I would appreciate any information that may help. Thanks

They may have sent you the wrong ones. Give them a call and ask. I bought some speakers a long time ago and they fit without a problem.

thanks. I spoke with the manufacturer and they don't make them for my year/model. Even though it is listed. I'm going to have to do a DIY and make them myself.
