[Tex07Limited]

Anyone here ever had to replace a factory wheel? If so, what did you find was the best way to acquire one?

I have a vibration in my 07 Limited, and the tire store says it is due to a bent rim. I haven't received a quote from the dealer for a replacement yet, but I am sure it is $$$$. Used is probably the way to go, but want to avoid buying another one that is bent.

Suggested sources?

I dented one on my '08 Legacy GT. I went on the forums and found someone selling a set, and worked out a deal for 2. I added a full size spare with the other.

I would sugget posting to the WTB section of this forum and a few others. I've have good luck buying stuff on NASIOC.com. LegacyGT.com is also pretty active, that's where I found mine.

I've also had some luck with S&S Auto Parts. They buy totalled Subarus and part them out.

In any case, I wouldn't buy one new OEM. You could probably find a full set used, or some aftermarket ones for the same price.
