Hello -

When I install new rear LCAs on my Outback, should I torque the control arm nut once the car is sitting on the ground, or does the LCA spin freely in the bushing once torqued?

Mine just started leaking immediately after lifting the car 1", and I'm wondering if the new ride height stretched the bushing in a way that it usually isn't supposed to be stretched. "Out of it's range," so to speak.

I'm considering going with these:

4 Front Lower Control Arm Bushing Subaru Outback 00 04 Baja 03 06 | eBay

The price is definitely right. Considering I can't find anything other than OEM right now, (and I don't want to go poly) this is my first choice. Is this a good route, has anyone used these aftermarket bushings? Or, where is the cheapest OEM vendor to get the genuine Subaru fluid filled bushings?

Thanks!:)

Didn't get that far yet, just did! I hate when a seller advertises they ship from the USA but actually ship from China or Thailand. Will be looking elsewhere, I don't have two weeks to wait for shipping!

Avk: Thanks for the tip, that's probably why my current bushings took a crap immediately after the lift.

Boy, after looking at the prices of the bushings brand new, that sketchy eBay seller is very tempting. The only reason I'm not going with them at this point is because I bet I'll receive Legacy LCA bushings instead of Outback bushings, and then have absolutely no help from the seller to get the correct ones back to me.

With that said: Where is the cheapest place to get the OEM fluid filled bushings online?
