Does anyone know of or had experience with "irotors" and "axxis" pads?? My 01 outback is in need of a brake job and I saw these on EBAY. They are drilled and slotted rotors and are actually less $ then oem. Any help would be apprecitated.
i can tell you however, i just put axxis metalmasters on my 98 outback and they are fantastic. stoptech.com had the best prices when i was looking for mine. give them a shot.
for rotors i just got 2 from my local auto store, ($61 for the pair) unless you need the added cooling of drilled or the gas releasing goodness of slotted then get solid rotors.
if all you do is drive it on the street you wont get them near hot enough to notice a difference. solid rotors stop better because they have more area in contact with the pad.
I know what you mean. I have been burned my share of times on EBAY, I shouldn't even consider such a move. Are you having good luck with your oem rotors? Thanks for info!
