Hi all, I have a 2005 Outback 2.5 SE with around 72,000miles on the clock (UK spec). I noticed the idle is rough when starting up from cold and we'e been finding it easy to stall the car at road junctions while out and about driving.

Any suggestions to what could be up?

Slightly worried it could be a burnt valve...

Why would you suspect a burnt valve?

A rough idle and stalling could be a number of things.

How cold is it when it does it?

When was the last time you replaced the fuel filter?

When was the last time you cleaned the throttle body?
