I have a 2007 Outback Limited w/@197,000 miles. I noticed earlier this week an intermittent rubbing sound and yesterday at highway speeds I noticed a shimmy in the steering wheel. I think I’ve narrowed the rubbing sound down. When accelerating on a left turn / curve past a certain point (which I have not yet been able to pinpoint / replicate). It seems to be on a tighter turn and at a higher speed. Brakes applied or not doesn’t seem to have an impact. Any suggestions what I should check? Thank you

First thought is that at least one rubber bushing at the mounting end of the lower a-arm has died.
