I use this steering wheel cover... Bell Grey Stress Reliever Steering Wheel Cover - Walmart.com.

I'm not a big fan of leather and this gives me a better grip, plus it helps a lot in the winter. They're not hi-quality as you can imagine, so look to replace these every 7.5-10k miles. The material starts to get rubbed away and the memory foam loses it's characteristics. They're under 10 bucks, and I've seen one or two at every Walmart I've been to. The color matches pretty well with the dash too.

Now that the weather is turning cold, the leather on my steering wheel is getting slippery. What should I apply to make it a little more tacky? I have golf clubs with leather grips, and baseball glove oil works great on those, but it doesn't help when applied to the steering wheel.
GO easy on the hand lotion!!!! :)

Any animal print steering wheel cover like leopard spots or zebra stripes. You could try hanging some fuzzy dice from the rear view mirror.

I put thumb tacks inside the leather cover so the sharp points stick out. Works for me.
