It could be a phase-induced reduction capacitor from an alpha level multi bivalved dual overhead interociter, although it's hard to tell from the picture... can you take it out of the plastic and turn it 90 degrees?

It's not an allen wrench. Like I said, it's about 1.5cm (what a tiny allen wrench). It's just a L shaped piece of metal (round cylinder, not hexagonal).

Maybe it's just something the dealer had in his pocket and it dropped out.. who knows.

Nope. The color is wrong to be a PIRC/ALMBDOI.

No doubt.....

As soon as you decide you won't be needing it, the next day (or sooner), you will find out THAT YOU DO NEED IT!

Keep it, just in case!:17:

That is why my house is full to overflowing.
All the stuff that I know that I will need "someday" - it's just that that day never comes, and when it does, I can't remember where I put the thing!

The pic you posted sure looks like its got flat sides, at least on the short part. Give us a nice close up shot on macro with a ruler beside it. I've seen some pretty tiny Allen wrenches.

Its not for the roof rack thats in the spare tire compartment and its way to small. Just throw it in the back. If you throw it away you'll need it tomorrow. Keep it and you'll never need it or know what it is.
