Have a friend selling a set of barely used snow tires mounted on alloy rims. The price is screaming good.

2012 2.5i premium. Stock tires are 225/60/17

The snow tires he has are 215/60/16

I realize there would be about a 5% speed difference between speedo and actual......other than that any issues with running these on my outback?

They're probably going to look a little goofy, since they'll be an inch an a half shorter than the stock tires, but they will work. I am assuming you've made sure the lug pattern on the wheels is a 5x100mm?
