2001 Subaru Forester S
Three owners by one Family prior to my acquiring it
192k miles, but don't let that be the reason you miss out
EJ252 4 cylinder recently rebuilt, not just head gaskets. All of it. Subaru parts, complete timing set with tensioner and gears, OEM thermostat, organic coolant with conditioner
Automatic transmission
Cruise Control
New Catalytic Converters
All fluids replaced - trans, front and rear differential, brake and power steering
Manual AC blows extremely cold. System resealed while the engine was out.
Michelin Premier A/S Tires with plenty of tread remaining
Great brakes; not many miles on them
Suspension in great shape (No sloppy ride or rattles)
Power Heated Mirrors
8 Way Driver Seat w/Lumber
Heated Front Seats (Both)
Power Windows/Locks
Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror with Compass
Power Sliding Sunroof
Rear Wiper/Washer
Rear Heated Glass
Fold Down Rear Seat
Cargo Cover
Factory Roof Rails and Crossbars
Factory Bully Bar
Fog Lights with Grilles
AM/FM/Cassette/6 Disc CD with 6 speaker system - All speakers work great

Everything you need for a comfortable commute or a long trip. Pack it and go; just about anywhere and with confidence.

I use Synthetic 5/30 motor oil and Premium fuel. Fuel mileage has been upward of 26 mpg. It's ready to go for 100k miles before major maintenance is due besides fluid exchanges on schedule; (i.e. Timing Belt, Thermostat, Spark Plugs). No Rust, No Accidents. It does have a few scars from it's age like door dings. Everything works as of this posting as designed with exception to the Heated Windshield which had to be replaced and an OEM windshield was not available at the time.

CarFax available. Delivery available in the Austin Metro Area.

$4200 OBO

PM me if you're interested.

The interior has had a complete scrub down since these pics were taken. It's cleaner on the inside than it looks in the photos.

It was a lot of work. Runs great. Without the cruise set you'd find yourself doing better than the speed limit fairly easy. Of, "speed limit" is relative around here. 😁

Wish I was closer to Texas I am looking for a car like that in the future when I free up some funds. Maybe Ill have to road trip down if you still have it. The test drive would be going from TX to WI but have faith in your words so im sure it would do fine.

I'd trust it on a long trip. It's been consistent since put back together.
