does it feel watery and gritty? might just be some rusty condensation.


Did you spin the wheel and hear any noise?

plenty of material left on the brakes pads (outer AND inner?)

that nut hols the half-axle into the hub. It's appearance is normal.

Your uneven brake wear may not be the cause of the noise, but may indicate some slider pins or other items need to be cleaned and lubed - or perhaps a more seruius issue with the caliper, caliper bracket, w'ever.


You could do searches here for more info and begin troubleshooting all the possible causes of noise from a wheel, but if you are not a DIY'er, taking it to someone with expertise is probably best.

does the goop feel oily or watery?

maybe take a look at the other side too, for comparison.

jack tools are an afterthought and some manufacturers get kinda creative on placement.

plus, it seems they forgot to list number 3 anyway!
