Hi,

I have a 2020 Onyx outback. 4 months old. Forgot my lights on. I am getting "SRS airbag system" "check owner manual" warning and car is making clicking noise and won't start. Owners manual has nothing on this I can find.

I tried connecting one of those battery jumpers that connects to wall outlet. Still getting the warning, despite charging for a while. Feels like some sort of electronic mode is preventing me from jumping car.

Any advice?

It sounds like your battery is drained enough that it needs to be recharged, and different devices that plug into the wall have different charging capabilities. My guess is that the one that you have is low amperage and hasn't charged the battery sufficiently.

Do you have a multimeter/voltmeter to check the battery's state of charge? If it's 12v or more it should start but to be fully charged it should get to 12.6
