Hello i have this steering wheel shaking when braking but not all the time.
The car is a Legacy 2007 3.0 automatic.
When i brake at moderate speed the steering wheel shakes and sometimes pulling to left.
Next time i drive theere is no shake but will come after a while of driving.

Alot is changed like all suspension, all bushings in the front.
Front rotor and pads is about 2 years old (brembo).
Back rotors is some cheap ones with bosch pads.
Front wheel bearings ar new Ngk.

Before i changed the rotors in the front the shake was gone but now it's back.

One, or both of the front rotors needs turned or replaced.

Reoccurring probably means mechanical issue with the caliper hardware or driving conditions.

1. replace all the slide pin bushings with new OEM. i throw them away.
2. clean and regrease the slides with Sil Glyde or other high grade brake caliper grease.

3. i would also replace the brake pad retaining clips with OEM - i just buy pads that include clips, the OEM pads are excellent quality and include the clips.

4. turn your rotors or replace them.
