I'm beginning to notice Subarus appearing in advertisements for other products.

In a cooking magazine, there's a Clorox mop ad that shows the rear of a dirty white Outback, under the line "If this were a floor, we'd clean it." On the MSN Hotmail page today, there's a car loan ad, showing a new Legacy.

Neither ad actually says the car is a Subaru - the OB in the Clorox ad is missing its name trim, for example - but the point is that Subarus are beginning to appear as generic cars instead of quirky, rainforest-hugging freakmobiles.

Subaru has gained much respect within the last five years I believe. Just wait until the '05 models appear and see everyone open their eyes to the glory of Subaru like all of us:D . Brian

I've been seeing Subies in ads as well. Of course, I've been looking for Subarus in movies and TV shows all my life. Ever see Cannonball Run?
