Hey, I've owned a 96 Outback legacy for over a year now and recently it started to make a clicking noise when making sharp left turns. I'm pretty sure that it's the cv joint.

This morning when I started the car it started making a high pitched whining noise that sounded like it was coming from the same left front wheel.

I had the same wheel bearing replaced about a year ago so I dont think it's the wheel bearing.

Any ideas?

The whining noise happens more when I turn left.

Sub outback legacy 96 2.2 l issue

Hey, I've had my subaru for over a year without many problems. Recently while turning left its started making a clicking noise. (Cv joints I'm pretty sure) but this morning after starting the car it was making a whining noise which appeared to come from the same front left tire. After the car has heated up it wasn't as bad but it still makes a noise sometimes when turning left.

Any ideas?

I had the same wheel bearing replaced about a year ago so I don't think that's the issue.
