I am but a kid myself. I bought the Outback simply because the price was right and I liked how it drove. If I hadn't happened to borrow this one from a friend when my car was broken down, I probably would have never bought it. I'd still be driving around in a 2 door sporty coupe of some sort. A marriage of convenience quickly turned into a love of everything about the car. Roominess, handling, comfort, reliability and the ability to go anywhere I want, anytime I want, while carrying whatever amount of cargo I want.
Growing up my family always had big RWD Fords and GMs.
