Regarding the sunroof tilt vent position, where the rear tilts up for ventilation: The sunroof on my 2013 opens up vertically to provide only 1/2" of ventilation. Hardly purposeful for all the mechanical apparatus dedicated to this function.

I am wondering if it is working correctly. I saw a video of a Japanese Legend Wagon that is almost the same model and sharing most body parts. It appeared to open at least twice this amount.

Does 1/2" opening seem like normal? How far does yours open? I did try a reset according to some instructions by a user on this forum, but it didn't change anything.

I think that is about right. It will actually allow for quite a bit of air movement at that opening. Especially helpfull with defogging the windshield when used with the defroster running. If you need more, just retract the glass.
