I have a 2008 Tribeca, pretty sure the drive train is similar to Outback. It has 3.6 and 5 speed auto.

So i blew the front diff but it was easier to get a whole transmission from the junkyard so that's we did. I took a week or so to put it and when i was done it worked perfectly - for a few miles. A line popped off and it dumped a bunch of ATF. Towed it home, fixed it, filled it and rolled it out but it's still not right.

So, i'm wondering how difficult it would be to swap the front differential on the old transmission? Hard ot find any info on this, especially on the Tribeca forums and groups.

THanks

Are both trans codes the same? Along with the front and center diff ratios? If so it won't be a problem to swap it out.
