How long after buying your new Subaru did it take for the technology rep to contact you?

mine called within a few days. The radio didn't have any sound for the first few weeks, the dealership couldn't figure it out and immediately ordered a new headunit and amplifier, so I did the demo with the technology rep without any sound (which was fine).

Thirteen months ago, different dealership, they were all about “meeting the technology rep”. Even gave us a $50 gas gift card for coming in to meet. This time, not so much as a text or email. Maybe this dealership is a little slower or they just didn’t like me. I do tend to be aggressive when negotiating.

I've been to the same dealership a few times since 2013, sometimes whoever the technology specialist is on staff is good about following up, sometimes they were not. Was sort of hit or miss. Was a good chance to ask some questions though.... this time he even took time to research and give me a call back to things he couldn't answer.

It is about time the auto dealers have someone on staff that KNOWS how the technology works and works hard to keep the customers happy.

On staff? Well, I guess the Tech Spec at my dealer went over it all in person with me. I thought the OP was speaking about somebody at SOA.

What we at the dealership level call the Redelivery Specialist.

The person that you should be going to see 2 - 4 weeks after you buy your new car to answer all those questions that have come up since you bought your car and it was originally delivered to you by your salesman. At our place, what's known as the only guy who knows more about the cars than I do.

LOL, thanks.
However, I didn’t have any questions and if I did the dealer is the LAST place I would ask as I’m pretty sure I know more about this car than they do.

14 days. I should have went back for the $50 card, but it wasn't worth the 90 mile round trip.
