2005 H6 O/B sedan
I found the answer to my previous post titled 'idler pulley serp belt' : the bearing in the idler pulley was gone - disappeared , "chewed up" as the dealer put it. So I purchased 2 new pulleys - idler and tensioner ( i could not find the bearings that go inside the pulley at Pep Girls).

Pl see the pic below. T2 shows 2 screws in diagram, I was able to locate only one in the car.

Any tips on loosening of the tensioning system.

You stick a wrench on the head of the bolt on pulley 3 and apply pressure, it's spring loaded.

interesting to see this pop up on an 05.

yeah, if it's like our 03, what he ^^^ said. rotate right/down with a wrench. Might get close to the radiator hose but, you should have enough room.
