Hello everyone.
My name is Collin. I'm currently an Industrial/Transportation Design student living in western PA. I've always had an obsession with the automoble since a young child growing up in north NJ. As a kid my father bought an SVX in a dark dark brown over black leather interior. I loved riding in that thing. My father let me drive it a few times in parking lots and on back roads - it may as have been a space shuttle in my eyes.. I truly enjoyed it.
Years later I've had multiple friends whom have all had various Subarus... Xt's, legacy L's, outbacks, foresters, wrx's and more. I've always enjoyed the brand but specifically the outbacks, for their ability to conquer even terrain my Cherokee 4.0 couldn't while getting better mpg.
About 2yrs ago I convinced my dad to pick up a 2001 impreza Outback sport w/ standard transmission.. My father and mother loved it, as did I. Skipping ahead to about a month ago while I was home visiting my parents, I took the Soob out for a spin and I was T-boned in an intersection by a drunk driver who then ran from the accident.
So, since then I've been trying to find them another Subaru and have found this forum via google. Hopefully I will be able to replace it for them shortly.
Anyway, I'm excited to be here. Thanks and cheers
