Hello, my 2011 Outback 2.5i with a cvt transmission has recently been experiencing symptoms of a rear torque bind on tight slow turns. There are no check engine lights. No torque bind symptoms when driving straight, slow tight turns only in both directions. Tires are matched and have same tread depth.

Possible solutions...?
Transfer clutch?
Bad Solenoid? (No check engine light...)
Maybe rear differential?

I appreciate the help!

Curious, does the binding sound like a low frequency growl or rumble? Like a tire making slight contact with a wheel well liner during a sharp turn?

Sounds like the tires are skipping/jumping. Kinda a low chatter sound. Not a wheel well rubbing sound.

Thanks for taking interest!
