My accelerator is way to touchy from a dead stop!!! Any fixes for this from the manufacturer? Software update or something?

You got one of the fast ones.

Trade it for a 2.5 maybe?

My tuner, XRT can fix it.

2.5 is like that too, any many other Subaru cars, like Crosstrek.
Maybe it was fixed in 2018? Or I got used to it.

It was fixed on the 2018 3.6’s. Quite smooth now.

Every car is a bit different. DBW throttles are weird. I swear, some cars feel like slugs, others feel like they have a tune. The turbos from the early years (mine) are somewhat dramatic. The 2.5NA and 3.0 also.

My tuner an I talk of this often. No 2 cars are exactly the same.

The accelerator on my 2017 was quite touchy when the car was brand new, but it seems to have gotten less so after a couple thousand miles. And I swear it's not just me getting used to it. Maybe the pedal spring loosened up or something.
