One doesn't have to preclude the other... It just happens to in this case.Yes, Subaru uses sensors......But one system does not preclude the other. All the ECU has to see is the speed reading from all 4 ABS sensors to ascertain whether all are within parameters.
Why else would you have to drive the car to get it to reset?
