My 95 wagon with 2.2 engine and 227k miles, just sprung a moderate transmission fluid leak, dripping onto the catalytic converter a the drive-shaft. Fortunately there is still fluid showing on tip of dipstick. I put the car on ramps and cannot easily locate the source of the leak.

Any quick ideas as to the source of leak?

After looking at the opposed forces illustrations, I see there is a rear seal there. I am guessing that could be it.

Has anyone replaced one of those?

Thanks for the suggestion-the power steering fluid id ok. I am now pretty sure it is dripping from the area where the drive-shaft connects to the rear of the transmission. I am trying to identify the correct part number for that seal.
