I have a 2013 3.6 legacy w 126k. My transmission I’m noticing taking it out of park is having a little difficulty going into drive. Also occasionally a shift drop when coming to a stop after being on the freeway. Any word of advice before I take it to the shoe and what should I be hearing from the mechanic? Thank you

Look for signs of a leak at the transmission, the cooler hoses and the filter that's behind the left of light.

Check the transmission fluid level with the car warmed up and in park in a level surface.

If you don't see signs of a leak and the fluid is full, check the battery condition and cable connections.

Do you know how to use a multimeter?

Edit: The CVT wasn't paired to the 3.6R until 2015.

Around 2013 is when a bad batch of torque converters (sticking clutch) had come through... if you throw into neutral when coming to a stop, does it still pull the RPMs low?
