2017 Outback 3.6l Touring
I just arrived home from a 3300 mile round trip to Wisconsin. The car had about 800lbs of luggage and gear for the trip and averaged 27.5 mpg. I recorded Interstate mileage only, hand calculated and verified by a Scangage2 monitor. I traveled 5 to 7 mph above the posted speed limit. I left NC with synthetic oil in the engine and had the oil changed in Wisconsin with conventional oil. The change in oil types had no affect on fuel mileage. The outback was a good road trip car and was a comfortable and capable vehicle. I took a photo in Lafayette, IN.
