Ormond Beach, FL to the southern suburbs of Pittsburgh, 892 miles, the OB ran flawlessly and comfortably all the way.

--and--

Fairly well loaded with presents, 2 adults and in the 65-75 MPH range, got 30.5 mpg for the trip!!

Not too shabby!

Nice! I did a similar trip last year, in reverse, Baltimore to St. Augustine/Daytona in my GTO. The transmission let go in North Carolina on the return trip, pretty much why I decided to ditch it for an OB!

Funny thing is, that great big 6liter lump of an engine was getting 26mpg on the way down!

I wish I had the fundage to get back down there this year, but no...

When you get home from your trip, swing in to Houligans for me and put down some wings!
Houligan's at Destination Daytona is less than 2 miles from where I live.

I think we at at the one in Ormand (sp?) Beach. Best wings I've ever had. They were amazing.
The Houlians' that I referred to is by what claims to be the worlds largest Harley dealership (Bruce Rossmeyer's), and they call that whole complex "Destination Daytona". It's on US 1 at the intersection with I-95.
