I have noticed for aobut the last 2-3 weeks that my car will rattle. It strangely does not rattle all the tie, but during certain activities. I noticed that if I remote start my car and it will rattle a bit at idle. Also, when I am driving around that car will have a rattle around 3,000 RPMs and this is weird to me. I think that it may be some debris in my engine bay, but otherwise I cannot say where or why there is a rattle. If you all suggestions I am welcome to them. If you have had the same issue share it with me!

Are you in snow country?

Bent exhaust can do this. Its not uncommon to find bent exhaust on cars that get driven over snow plow berms. Then in certain rpms or temps the exhaust makes contact with a body part and you get a loud rattle.

Just slide under the car far enough so you can use the heel of your hand and bump the cats on your exhaust. You should be able to hear if the shield is loose or hopefully not, the ceramic block inside the cat housing is deteriorating to the point where it's loose.

Heat shield bolts will break easily!
