Other than changing the fluids and filters, do you have to do
the 6k, 12k checks and such to keep it in warranty?
I rarely keep a car past my extended warranty period.

Only if you expect Subaru to honor it when the engine or CVT go south.

If you dont keep a car past the warranty what are you worried about? Only inspection worth doing is the cvt drain fill / inspection given thats the only thing a local shop cant easily fix and Subaru is all in on the cvt and will fix it if you have an issue. The rest is local joe or self with no issues.

Open your owners manual up and look at the recommended services outlined there. You need to do that to satisfy the requirements of the warranty. Often dealers try to up-sell a bunch of extra crap that is not needed.
