Yes, but do you really care if people think you're a poseur?
Not really. :) That part was more of a joke. I mean people already call me a lesbian constantly for driving this car. :-/

Just wondering what people thought.

At least you're sticking with a Subaru theme . . . I went in a somewhat different direction:

That's cool. What is that badge from?

I need to decide which badge I like better. The car is the dark maroon color (anyone know what that's called, by the way) and I think red might look nice. But I've always been a sucker for carbon fiber. I'm not sure how it'd actually look though. Hard to read what they say. Might just look like a black blob.

Might I recommend some scratch and sniff stickers, sir? They make your car go just as fast and smell like chemical-ish berries when scratched.

Jeep badge looks good!

I'd say that if you don't have the horsepower to back it up, then stay away from those badges. Spend your money on something else to improve the performance.

Of the two badges you mentioned in your original post, I like the cherry blossom red STi badge better (the second one).

My badge you can find in the same spot in a lot of Jeeps.
re: Jeep - 4x4 Basics - Trail-Rated Certification - 4WD SUVs

Got a friend that owns a CJDR (Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram) dealership so it didn't cost me a penny - I don't know if I would have paid the $35 otherwise.

How 'bout some awe-inspiring Mensa swag?

...it would be almost as plausible,

Rebadging is awesome. A guy i know got out of a parking ticket written on his "BMW Crusader" when he was able to prove he didn't own a BMW.

I don't think I saved the pix of my Eagle Marauder DUB Edition. :)

In the 80's I saw a lot of folks putting "Turbo" stickers on their cars even when it was obvious that model never was or never would be a turbo. I remember a Ford Escort with TURBO made from those stick on letters you use on your mailbox. I couldn't tell if he was serious or just joking.

I had never heard the 'lesbians drive subarus' thing until I bought mine. The day I got it, my buddy drove by yelling 'hey only lesbians drive subarus!'
