im a newbie(had a 98 outback sport, now 05 outback xt)
had a strange issue with my radio today, it seems like something is shorting out
noticed that after about 20 min or so(happened twice today), both the front and rear defrost indicator lights started flickering then the radio screen and hvac screen shut off, and the hvac turns right back on, then the radio turns on, but does not start playing the cd's again, then there is loud popping over the speakers, and the audio screen turns off, i havent tried listening to the radio to see if it happens when the radio is used, so far it doesnt matter which cd
im really tempted on buying a remanucatured unit, but i want one with the aux audio port but i can deal with a reman unit
