I looked at a 2015 Subaru Outback basic package with 90,000km on it. The asking price is $16,000. I was curious if this is a fair price? Or if any one knew what similar cars sold for?

A side question to is does anyone think its worth it to buy a touring or limited package over the basic? In five years from now, will the resale value on the car be worth it, to spend more money now on an upgrade package?

Welcome to the forums @dmiz23

You didn't specify which Outback... 2.5/3.6/etc...

Give KBB a spin?

KBB.ca

And for giggles sake... Seattle, WA prices.

Hope this helps.

Could you get the 3.6 with base trim?

Its the 2.5l with base trim. I haven't really looked at the 3.6. I read that the 3.6 has more issues. Would you recommend I look at the 3.6?

Go on AutoTrader.com and put in your parameters - year, model, equipment, mileage, dealer vs private party. Then filter by Zip Code and distance. The by lowest price first. do an hour or 2 of research. You will know what/where the deal is.
