Here's my list in order of ownership:

1966 Morris 1100 (It floats on fluid!)
1970 Holden Monaro GTS (like a Camaro)
1976 Mazda 808
1981 Mazda 626 (bought new, great chasis.. shame about the motor)
1981 Honda Civic
1983 Mazda 626 Coupe
1985 Mazda 626 Sedan
1987 Rover 416i (rebadged Honda Integra.. great motor, pity about the body flex)
1990 Mazda MX6
1992 BMW 318i
1992 Mazda Astina Hatch
1995 Ford Fairmont
1998 BMW 318i
2000 BMW 323i
1994 BMW 540i
2002 Mazda 6 Luxury Hatch
2004 Subara Outback 3.0R Premium

Geez maybe my ex was right and I did spend too much on cars over the years, but it was partly her fault for not letting me buy the ones I wanted in the first place ;) Of them all the ones I really loved were the 2000 BMW 323i, 1994 BMW 540i (only sold that because then girlfriend hated it, never let a woman make you change cars!) and of course the Outback :D

Karl - I'm guessing by now with all of the Bee Emms you've owned, you've discovered that BMW stands for "Break My Wallet" ! ;)
Hmmm, bucket of sh!t or bucket of rust? maybe both? ;)

Chris, I can't understand why anyone could say that about a BMW, I only lost $20K on the 323i when I had to sell it at 1yr old due to marriage breakup. At least it was cheap to service, usually only about $250 once a year. The 540i on the other hand: a cheap service was $700 and some standard services well over $1000. Ouch!

My turn.....

1988 Nissan Pintara GLi
1991 Toyota Camry Exec
1988 Ford Fairmont Ghia manual
1998 Subaru Impreza RX manual
2001 Subaru Outback manual

The Camry wasn't my car (parent's) but I drove it 90% of the time, washed it, polished it, waxed it, took care of it,etc, which makes it my car I suppose.

The best of course are the Subi's. Can't get enough of them.

The BMWs never gave me a problem. Ditto the Japanese cars (drove the first Toyota into a tree tho . . .) The Grand Cherokees were always having annoying minor problems.

Geez I can't believe some car names, nobody would buy a car here that sounds like it's named after a sleeping illness LOL, but then again I may be wrong, we have the "Toyota Kluger" (Highlander) afterall. ;)
