I've been searching for the size of the drain plug for a 2013 2.5 OB... I need to complete the first oil change and all my tools are in storage 200 miles away as I'm in the process of moving. I'd like to buy the correct size box ended wrench or socket for the plug... Anyone know the size? I'm guessing 16mm... Thanks in advance!

Haven't touched a '13 yet but all the recent ones I have done were 17mm. If you're buying a tool for a quick oil change it would be hard to go wrong with a 10" adjustable wrench...

I've got a crescent wrench that would work, but prefer a better fit for this stuff. I'll try the 17mm. Thanks!

That drain plug is pretty tight to get it off; I just did it last weekend and replaced it with Fumoto Quick drain plug (like many others on this forum). Make sure you get the the box wrench or socket - it's a 17 mm or 11/16" size.
