WRX, WRX STI, BRZ...wait till the BRZ STI, FRS (in orange) or Genesis Coupe 3.8 r-spec

wife wants a new car lol we were looking at an WRX with perrin cat-back on it was an 11 for 27k thought that was abit high with 21K miles and it was just base, looked online seems like i can get one brand new for about the same the same

our altima v6 coupe is a good car, but she wants something different and a Manual trans,i would want a BRZ with the lower HP for her and its good handling but its abit on the small side and its only been year one for the car i like to maybe wait and see what they change in a few years like the STI version, the WRX is about the same as the altima in power just not as...safe lol the WRX STI is abit more, she doesn't want the 305hp, but i like the trans that's in the STI and she wants mods done to the WRX anyways....but it is abit more and something that we have to sit down and really talk about if that's the way we want to go FRS just be cause of the Hot Lave (orange) color on the car, she likes orange lol, Genesis Coupe V6 a lot more power in the 2013 models much more the an STI, and its about the same as the altima in size and its cheap for the R-spec, i just never drove one and haven't really sat inside one, so i don't know how they are and what they are like besides the HUGE 3.8 v6 and and its power

so need some help narrowing its down if y'all could thanks!

NOTE: this is my wife's car, i drive the outback, she will drive what ever we get if we even do lol :D

none of those cars sound like a good option. i personally feel its a huge mistake to buy a sports car and not use it for some sort of sporty driving (lapping, autox, etc...). but if she doesn't mind wasting all the money for premium fuel or dealing with a cramped interior, then one of those cars will work fine. i made my wife love the impreza hatch. she loved her '08 obs, and loves her '12 impreza sport limited even more. good looks(we think), good gas mileage, roomy, practical, overall a great girls car. just don't put eyelashes on it when she's not at home!

since you want orange, get an XV. its an impreza, there eventually will be tons of aftermarket support for it

Well like I said she drives a Altima coupe v6 which is cramped and using premium gas also at 270hp and 265 torque the wrx is a better fit just with some back doors, we have the outback for family but we drive the Altima on the weekends unless we get stuff, and who said I wasn't going to do stuff with it,she's already looking up stuff to mod it before I am, I told her about the xv but she doesn't want something slow lol, plus I already got the outback we kinda don't want another SUV like thing

Btw my wife might look girlly but she plays hockey like a monster and is in the Air Force she so is one tough mother lol, also is talking about SCCA...she's awesome

you might throw both Forester XT and MazdaSpeed 3 into the mix.

Personally, let her get a WRX - NOT used, and mod it how she wants.

Check the insurance rates too on all those different vehicles. STI might be $$$$

Of that list I'd get the STI. But, assuming you don't need awd in Vegas, I'd get a 5.0 Mustang (being budget conscious). If money's no object, 392 Challenger.

I would go WRX. The BRZ and the FR-S are having some issues that Toyota and Subie engineers are fighting about. Basically Toyota's only contribution was the fuel injection.management system and its causing some issues. Also the Genesis coupe is a nice product, but for an all around nice car that would be manageable to drive I would go with the WRX or wait until they get the BRZ bugs out and put AWD on it (we all know its coming)

BRZ??? Who in their right freakin' mind would buy a two seat
"sports car" that isn't a convertible?

Drive a Miata and/or a ragtop Mustang before buying a cage.
