The results of the poll may be a little bit skewed toward the older driver because the younger owners are probably on an Outback facebook page instead of here.
Pretty much what I said. Discussion boards tend to be more popular with older people. I think that is skewing the responses.

Hate for this to be my first post.

physical 75. mental still 25. Age is just another number.

Yea, but the problem is...your 25YO brain says, "Do it!" and your body says, "Go ahead and make my day!" Pass the Alieve please...

First Subaru purchase. Just turned 32, bought it at 31. I was 28 the first time I drove one and decided I would get one some day.

We picked out a Subaru because of our 12yr old lab. At "84", even with the great ground clearance, she can get into this vehicle still. Or put it this way, my wife and I can still help her into the vehicle where we cannot in my wife's Jeep Wrangler Sport. While we currently live in ATL, the plan is to retire in a few yrs to upstate NY, and we know the value of AWD and clearance.

This is funny, but following the purchase, all I seem to see now, and I see them everywhere, is Subarus. It's like everyone in my town are driving subies. Guess I caught a subie bug.

If I look at the distribution again, it looks bi-modal to me.

I'm 41 and have owned or regularly driven 14 Subarus I think. Colorado Native, maybe all those rumors are true after all... ? I currently drive a Nissan Pathfinder, but my son is on his second Outback.

The results are exactly what I expected, largely older middle aged to retired. I just fit in the demo! :) We are the folks largely puttering around on these forum sites. Nothing wrong with it at all. It's an informative, useful and sometimes entertaining community! :)
