Will 17" wheels/tires from 2014 Outback & Forester mount on 2002 Outback LL Bean 3.0? The Outback has 16" wheels/tires yet as far as I can tell, is the same bolt pattern, stud size and hole center bore - tires are 225/60 on both

You are correct. The center bore, bolt pattern, and offset are the same for all 3 of those wheels. Keep in mind though, a 225/60r17 will be roughly 1.9 inches taller than a 225/60r16 so I would assume you’d need to do some trimming/lifting or consider a different tire size. Good luck!

Thanks for your info Black Bean. From your 1.9" dimension I'm deducing the wheel adds 1" and the 17" tire adds another .9" of increased circumference and you feel this may result in some rubbing during suspension compression and/or lock-to-lock turning.
Any idea what percentage of 'under read' that 1.9" will effect on speed and mileage gauges?
